ABOUT ME

  • Started playing Guitar aged 11

  • First paid gigs were playing in a Band in Social clubs around East London and Essex

  • At 16 I went to college to study music

  • 18 - 30 I played with lots of different Professional/Tribute Function Bands all over England and Europe

  • Began teaching Guitar at 19 to present day

  • 22 years old I landed my first Session Guitarist job with East West Records (Warner Music Group) where I put together a band for Soul/Garage Artist Robbie Craig who had a big hit with the track Woman Trouble featuring Craig David and The Artful Dodger

  • 24 years old, I worked as a Session Guitarist for an artist signed to Easy St Records playing a nylon strung guitar

  • Age 27 Guitarist of the Year Finalist 2002

  • 26 - 34 years old I built my own Recording Studio in East London where I recorded Solo Artists/Bands etc. In this period I also got into the Wedding industry performing as a Solo Guitarist and formed my own successful Wedding Party Band

  • Age 34 I moved to Billericay, Essex and focussed on setting up my Guitar teaching business while working in the wedding industry providing music entertainment

  • Age 37 I started working again as a Session Guitarist for Kenny Thomas Soul Singer from the 90's who had hits with tunes like Thinking about your Love in 1991 and got to play at some great venues - the O2 in London - and also worked with the Jacksons

  • Age 38 to present day - I'm busy with my teaching schedule, play various gigs for different people and also currently working on my solo acoustic projects and the Glen Parish Trio which is available on Spotify

  • 2020 onwards I have been focussing on writing my own music and successfully signed a publishing deal

  • Collaborated with drummer Keith Carlock (Steely Dan/Oz Noy) on one of my original tracks

  • Recent Session Guitar Work 2021 onwardse

  • Played guitar for the Queens of Country Music Show at theatres around the UK

  • Worked with Canadian platinum award winning country artist Jessica Moskaluke who has had a number-one hit on the Billboard Canada Country chart with "Country Girls", at the C2C: Country to Country music festival held at the London 02

  • Performed with Death of Guitar Pop - one of the UK's leading original  Ska bands

  •  Played guitar for Connor Selby - UK Blues Artist of the Year 2020, 2021 and 2022
